Lucas May grew up in Rhode Island and moved to Western Massachusetts to attend Hampshire College, graduating in the spring of 2020. In 2023 he completed a 3 year apprenticeship with Maya Machin, learning more about the wood-firing process.
He now works out of his studio in Northampton.
